About Us

Get to know Impact Wisconsin

Our mission is to serve anyone experiencing crisis or substance use disorder in Waupaca County and rural Wisconsin — through lived experience, advocacy, and evidence-based practices.

Our Story

Changing how our community understands recovery

Impact Wisconsin is dedicated to serving anyone in Waupaca County and the surrounding rural central Wisconsin areas.

We believe that changing the way we understand and interact with addiction recovery will end the stigma of substance use disorder and eradicate overdose deaths in our community.

Impact provides peer support to anyone at no cost by leveraging existing programs and services — and by engaging those who can help reduce the effects of substance use disorder on our community.

We invest in our community because we love it, we support our peers because we care about them, and we build others up because their recovery changes history — one person at a time.

What’s Next

Pioneering recovery

Impact Wisconsin is pioneering several new programs dedicated to serving those most in need — including two new recovery initiatives and comprehensive peer-support training that will change the way our community interacts with recovery.
