Why Resiliency Residences?
Resiliency residences are important for people in recovery from substance use disorders because they provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment in which to rebuild their lives.
Research has shown that resiliency residences can be an effective part of the continuum of care for people in recovery from substance use disorders. A study by the National Institute on Drug Abuse found that people who lived in recovery residences were more likely to stay sober and less likely to return to drug use than people who did not live in resiliency residences.
Your Support Makes it Happen!
Here are some of the benefits of living in a resiliency residence:
- Reduced risk of relapse: Resilience residences provide a safe and supportive environment where residents can focus on their recovery without the temptation of drugs or alcohol.
- Increased social support: Resiliency residences offer residents the opportunity to connect with other people who are also in recovery. This can provide them with much-needed support and encouragement.
- Increased chances of employment: Resiliency residences can help residents to get back on their feet by providing them with help with finding employment, housing, and other essential services
Will you help to ensure the future of a resient recovery community in Waupaca County for generations to come?
