Why Resiliency Residences?
Resiliency residences are important for people in recovery from substance use disorders because they provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment in which to rebuild their lives.
Research has shown that resiliency residences can be an effective part of the continuum of care for people in recovery from substance use disorders. A study by the National Institute on Drug Abuse found that people who lived in recovery residences were more likely to stay sober and less likely to return to drug use than people who did not live in resiliency residences.
