We have some exciting things to share with you today on our journey developing The Dwelling Initiative.

Happy St. Patrick’s day everyone! We wanted to share a quick update with you as it relates to The Dwelling Initiative our sober living program that is launching in Waupaca. Over the last two months we have been able to raise investment support for the homes, find new recruits for peer support and meet partners in other agencies who can help with ongoing assessments, treatment and supportive programs! We are now looking to find two more peer support specialists and compete specialist training for 9 additional people!

We have two big needs right now before we can get these houses up and running! Here is how you can help: 1. We have raised $3,000 for training and need to raise $4,000 more. 2. We have raised money for the housing but need to raise $20,000 more for furnishings and supplies. Would you partner with us today and help us get sober living up and running in Waupaca? You support of any amount means the world to us, and those we serve.

Impact Wisconsin is also still working on The Ezra Project and will be sending an update out to you on this as well in the near future! Finally, we do want to say thank you to everyone who reads these emails, and supports the recovery community here in Waupaca. We can not do what we do, without your help. In just the last three months we have been able to serve over 150 people in the recovery community in Waupaca and the surrounding rural areas including the county jail, area hospitals and other underserved facilities! Recovery Is Possible & Peer Support is Critical

Can’t give but still really want to help? Do you know someone who is interested in becoming a peer support person or recovery coach? Is that someone you? Please email info@impactwi.org  and we will reach out to you with information related to the latest trainings!
